While Studying Industrial Design, I explored using byproducts of the Chicago coffee industry to create something new.

I discovered that coffee technicians often have salvageable high-complexity super-automatic espresso machines that are full of standardized parts.

This was a project exploring the options of creating new products with these parts. The following fully functional prototypes were built:

• A tabletop Electric Milk Steamer

• A Single-Dose Burr Grinder
