As the world continues towards using digital displays for just about anything, I wanted to capture the charm of a simple $5 panel meter, while adding some modern technology.

Based around the SO-45 mA Panel Meter, this device uses a custom ESP32-based PCBA, and allows the user to control the needle over both Bluetooth and WiFi. In this example, I paired it to my Bluetooth coffee scale to have another view as I track my espresso.

This was a test for my first time designing a circuit board fully assembled by the manufacturer
