When will it be in stock?

Whenever devices are out of stock, we are always in the process of assembling more unless otherwise noted. Generally batches are released at least once a month.
Always add yourself to the waitlist, as batches often sell out in a few hours.
How long does the installation take?

For the Linea Micra and Mini R, installation generally takes about 15 minutes. Other, more complex installations such as for the Silvia Pro and GS3 can take up to a couple hours.
Could it damage my machine?

the shotStopper is 100% reverseable and does not interact with the machine in any way while the scale is turned off. Most installations only require unplugging a single cable, and plugging in 2 cables.

Which scales are compatible?

Most Acaia and Bookoo scales are compatible with varying levels of performance. Find the breakdown at the github.
What do I need to do before I install?
the shotStopper comes pre-programmed with the latest firmware release. There is no need to perform any updates or connecting it to a computer.
All you need is your espresso machine, a few basic tools, and a scale of your choosing. The instructions are included in your shipment.

Will I need to pay any additional fees? (duties, import taxes, customs, etc)
each shotStopper is shipped from the USA and any of the aforementioned fees are required to be paid by the buyer upon arrival into your country.
We are legally required to list the full value of the item on the customs form, and we do not take requests to reduce it.

My machine runs at a unique voltage. Will it work?
The shotStopper is compatible with all international versions of the supported machines.
