This was designed to be an intuitive implementation of fully manual pressure-profiling with an E61-style espresso machine group.

Taking advantage of the 90 degree swing of the paddle, along with its cam-shaped point of rotation, the design utilizes a linear potentiometer to translate the angle of the lever to a specific brew pressure.
